My daughter had her ingrown toenail edges removed. The office was run down and seemed dirty. It ended up getting infected and she had to go back. Still infected and had to leave several messages for the staff to get anyone to call her back. Were not helpful or knowledgeable. I would never recommend this office to anyone.

DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR!!! I am two years post op from what was supposed to be a routine foot fusion surgery. prior to the surgery I had minor discomfort in my right foot, I visited Hamblin for an assessment of the pain. After a 30 second review of the xrays and a few questions he said "This requires surgery" The red lights should have started flashing but I stupidly trusted the guy and scheduled the surgery. Hamblin did the surgery in an outpatient clinic in Murry , General anesthesia 2 1/2 hours start to finish. 4 weeks with no weight on the foot then a walking boot. From day one the pain and discomfort I experienced in the foot was substantially more than the discomfort prior to the surgery. Follow ups with Hamblin were a waste of time, he'd ask "how are you doing" I'd tell him of the pain and discomfort and he'd say "give it some time" at the six month point when I should have been 100% I was still in considerable pain, his prescription was "take gabapentin". . I said numerous times isn't the gabapentin treating the symptoms not the real problem? He responded " most patients don't have the problems you are having". Yah right, bottom line, in my opinion he botched the surgery. I visited a real physician an Orthopedic surgeon, his response was "there were several options that should have been tried before defaulting to this kind of surgery". I'm now being seen by qualified physical therapists and competent doctors. I'm crippled for life and Hamblin has cashed the enormous check from my quality insurance coverage. sign me as one guy who believes Hamblin should not be practicing medicine. avoid him at all costs, absolutely get a second opinion from someone other than a pediatrist, Hamblin gets zero stars in my book.

Well I did this backwards - read the reviews AFTER I went to see Dr Hamblin - MISTAKE!!!! From the moment that his assistant called me back to Dr Hamblin walking into the room, I knew that I was not going to be happy! His assistant Sarah had no personality and was too uptight to be greeting patients. (Try to interact with patients on a more friendly level) Dr Hamblin pushed his chair back as far as he could during the initial consultation of my visit. He seemed to know what he was doing, but had ZERO bedside manners. After the procedure of removing my big toenail I was sent on my way. Before I even got out of the building I had to go back in to be rewrapped (graphic). This time I was kept there for 10-15 min to make sure that I was better off the second time around. I asked him if this bleeding was a result of me being diabetic and before I could even finish my question he blurted out "no". The following day I asked my husband for the paperwork in how to take care of my toe and was told "he didn't give us any paperwork"!!! What the heckI had to wait until Monday to talk to Ms Personality and she told me over the phone on how to take care of my toe. I'm sure that put her out, as she even had an attitude on the phone. I will NEVER EVER recommend anyone to go to Dr Hamblin - he needs to gain some bedside manners!!
I just read a post from someone in 2011 that had to have a partial amputation because he didn't treat the patient correctly due to diabetes - I better not have an issue with the simple removal of my nail!

Very knowledgeable Doctor. I have been to several other specialists who didn't know what was wrong with Big Foot foot. Dr Hamblin was able to pin point the problem and fix it! I recommend him to anyone needing foot help.

I was appalled at Dr. Hamblin's attitude when I went to see him for severe foot pain. He was very rude, abrupt & didn't offer any options or recommendations. I went to another foot Specialist for a second opinion. This second Dr. showed me my x-rays & told me my options to stop my foot pain. My hope is that Dr Hamblin will take a serious look on improving his attitude & behavior towards his patients.

When he can no longer do surgery on you and bill your insurance. He will turn you away to the pain clinic! Omg three surgery later; he couldn't get anymore money out of me. I'm now fighting with a pain clinic that charged me for an MRI on my back! Really!!! I was sent for my foot pain.. I will never recommend!! He is all about money! True statement!

Very poor service by the doctor. Offered no recommendations or ideas to improve my condition. He said he would do more research and report to me his findings and I never heard from him. Plus his billing staff did not bill my insurance correctly. Terrible experience.

I had severe burning feet when I exercised,Dr. Hamblin said get new shoes nothing was wrong. My PCP later said it was peripheral neuropathy. I had twisted my ankle 3 weeks earlier, never limped & not bothered, but still some pain & wondered if anything was broken. X-rays showed no breaks. A month later I get a bill for an ankle boot, which I had not been given nor ever needed. After calls to the billing office, and Dr. Hamblins Medical Assistant, I was told I would not be billed for it but still am. Am now leaving reviews all over the internet as well as filing complaints with the Utah AG office for health care billing fraud - a consumer has to do something to be able to protect against medical insurance billing fraud. This has been my experience with this doctor, and this is true. I would recommend avoiding Granger Medical Clinic and avoiding this doctor. Look up other reviews on Granger. I am not the only person experiencing billing problems for things that did not happen.
