If you have Fibromyalgia, do NOT throw away your $ (copay) on this dr (?), especially if you cannot tolerate the fibromyalgia maintenance drugs and need even a low dose opiod (continued prescription from my dr that moved to another state). He doesn't understand fibromyalgia and the associated pain. I CANNOT take the maintenance drugs due to SEVERE MITRAL VALVE PROLAPSE WITH SEVERE REGURGITATION and ONLY 65% EFFICIENCY (which by the way, I think Lyrica caused to begin with). My previous negative rating on him was removed, I'm beginning to question the validity of this patient experience rating website.

Excellent doctor.Thanks to him I can walk and grocery shop without having to stop and sit down several times. I can get on and off of the toilet and wipe my own butt without having to ask my husband for help. I was ready to just give up on life and didn't want to live anymore before going to him. I have an improved quality of life since becoming his patient. I highly recommend him to anyone with any type of pain.

Dr Shelton's wicked smart and really caring! I've gotten a lot of relief from his injections. He also didn't try to just load me up on more pain medicine or rush out of the room! I've had shots before with little to no relief but Dr. Shelton really listened and was determined to help me. He did not want to repeat what the previous doctor had done and the new shots made all the difference in the world! He constantly asks how you are doing during the entire shot which puts you at ease. I like that I can choose to have twilight sedation for my shot bc he's an anesthesia doctor too. Plus, he recommended me to Dr. Lisa Patt, a chiropractor that uses acupuncture that really helps my old arthritis back and it put a spring back into my step! Dr. Shelton stressed he really likes working with her bc she's smart and good-he was right! I'm happy I no longer need my strong pain pill and have been able to cut the other one in half. I feel a 1000 times better! Go See Both Dr Patt and Dr Shelton!!
