Dr. Johnson and his staff are simply the best around; friendly, know their stuff, great with kids, and a fantastic office environment. They take my three children at once and treat each with respect and kindness.

Dr. Johnson and his staff are wonderful. They are caring, efficient and knowledgeable. Having been going to this practice for more than 15 years with both of my children, I've never experienced any of the issues raised in some of the reviews here. My family has received nothing short of the best of care delivered with respect and professionalism.

I'm only reviewing our dentist on this site because of these reviews I've read down below. My father was a dentist and our family practices good hygiene. Dr. Johnson is a very respectful and educated man. He has taught me a lot about my children's oral health. If your child's cleaning is over in 10 minutes, that's a good thing. Take it as a compliment. If you're referred to an orthodontist, it is ONLY for a consult. Everyone does have bad days, but the doctor is ALWAYS professional and informative. He is the best pediatric dentist in the area because of his approach towards dentistry. My children sometimes know more that I do!!!! He offers a warm and friendly atmosphere. Very fun and relaxing. It's unfortunate that some of these Wellesley house cats feel its necessary to write a nasty review about a small business. Support local businesses!!!!!!!!! And thank you doctor for everything.

The office is a pleasant place but in more than 5 yrs. I only saw the dentist once. On our last visit, my son came out after less than 10 minutes, followed by the hygienist. She was holding a business card and said "he needs braces. Go next door." It is really big business dentistry. Not for me.

I have recently changed my children's dentist to Dr Johnson. The experience- was fantastic from making the appointment thru the checkout, the office is newly renovated and has bright sunshine in all rooms. The staff was wonderful with all four of my four children including my daughter who would rather not have her teeth cleaned. I would recommend the practice to anyone who is looking for a great dental visit.

I have two little girls 4 and 2. They were really nervous going to the dentist but after going to Dr. Johnson's office they love going and always ask me when we can go back. The hygienist saw my older daughter and she was very happy. Dr. Johnson saw my two year old and he was very patient with her and told me a lot of information about keeping her teeth healthy and I was very pleased how they go over diet as well. I would recommend my friends to Dr. Johnson's office.

The staff was wonderful, but Dr. Johnson spoke to me as if I were a child. I assumed being a pediatric dentist he would be good with kids. Not the case at all. Going to give him the benefit of the doubt and go back one more time. Maybe he was having a bad day? If it is the same treatment then I am leaving the practice.

I recently transferred my daughter to this dentist. Loved the whole experience. They fit her in quickly and for the first time, she left a dentist smiling! The hygienist took time to help with proper brushing and flossing. And Dr Johnson explained her problems and how to fix them. I really loved this office and will refer my friends there. I wish they did adults

Johnson claimed our child had 8 cavities - cost to treat, close to $2,000! This was surprising since our child had never had a cavity (and had just switched to Johnson). So we took our child to another dentist (told him nothing about our visit with Johnson) and he took his own x-rays and said there was only one cavity. His asst then independently looked at the x-rays and (without knowing either dentist's prior opinion) said there was only one cavity. According to the dental literature, many of the tiny "dings" Johnson wanted to call a cavities will remineralize if you just brush better. So you can either spend almost $2,000 and structurally weaken the tooth by drilling/filling or you can teach the child to brush better. Don't let the nice Wellesely office fool you!
