Dr. Friel is unbelievable! I have never met such a good, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient Dr. My husband Wayne had to have large polyps removed surgically, which involved taking part of his colon out. Dr. Friel went over everything, explaining what he was going to do, how long it would take, and how long Wayne would be in the hospital. The operation went better than expected, Wayne was home the next day, on a special diet for two weeks. We saw Dr Friel today and he removed the bandage and was pleased at how well Wayne is doing. So after just two weeks, Wayne can eat, drive, and go about his life. I am so very thankful for Dr. Friel and the awesome job he did operating on my husband. Thankfully his polyps were all benign. Dr Friel and his team have provided colonoscopies over the last 4 years as they were required. They have taken care of every last detail and kept me well informed in all areas along the way. A great team to work with.

I recently had a colonoscopy performed by Dr Friel at the Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua NH. Dr Friel , as well as the entire medical staff, was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. Dr Friel removed 5 polyps which corrected a blockage problem I had developed. There were no adverse after effects in the following days. Thank you Dr Friel as well as the entire medical staff.

Super easy to talk to. Nice guy. Knowledgeable and specially trained in methods not everyone else can do. Lucky to have him in the Southern NH area.

Great doctor. I liked him very much. He is not a doctor who talks down to you. He talks directly to you and makes sure that you understand what he is saying. Would highly recommend him.

Dr Friel is fantastic! He is smart, capable and easy to talk to. Nursing staff and their familes also find him really great. He took charge and dealt with an emergency situation ending it in its tracks. I would never go to anyone else for abd surgery. Hospital care at SNHMC is fantastic....capable, compassionate and kind.
