I find it unfortunate the people blame MD's for not knowing their insurance coverage. Doctor's go to school to practice medicine and have no idea about the daily changes in insurance much less the own individual. I commend this doctor's time and value her opinion. Great atomsphere and attitude of the office .

Misinformed us about testing being covered by insurance, which was not, and won't stand behind what she said.

One of the best doctors I've been to. If you like someone who wants to help you with chroniv issues and not just throw a prescription pad your way once a year, she's a good pick. Long waiting list, so call months in advance for your new patient appointment

I saw Dr. Brainard for one year…during that time, she never touched me. She wore her stethoscope but didn't use it, until I asked her to. I had been hospitalized for an aortic valve issue (serious) but she never diagnosed it. Dr.s in hospital made the diagnosis when I was admitted by ambulance. Even with a diagnosis in hand, she listened to my chest and said I had a wheezing in my lungs…X-ray, refuted that. Scary experience. I would not recommend her for any condition…ever.

Dr. Brainard agreed to be my GP, and I had a well visit. Ten months later when I was ill, I called the office and there was no appt available for 2 months. I assume she only wants to see well patients if she leaves no time in her schedule available for sick patients. The receptionist berated me because I had not been to the office for a checkup in 10 months. Doctors do not want to see sick patients, only crank out the well patient visits and rake in the money. The so-called "health care" industry is pathetic.

Staff told me I wasn't on the books for an appointment, then called me to remind me of the appointment I didn't have. Nurse never returned calls. Left me with a UTI that I had to go to another doctor to get treated. Dr. Brainard was not very bright. Told me to read a book instead of explaining her treatment. Came away thinking she was a Quack. Save your money, you will be throwing it away if you see this doctor
