I'd sought an appointment at the Main St office, for acute symptoms that turned out to be a chronic condition. I would trust him to coordinate care with specialists and follow up evaluations, knowing the region has limited hiring efforts to replace existing specialists who graduated in the 1970s and are now retiring at a rate that outpaces demands of a growing geriatric population. I switched to a specialist as my primary physician in an effort to eliminate delay in care, because of the poor communication I experienced in person with the Main St office staff. The failure regarding clarification related to my scheduled appointment, by 3 different frontline staff members there, signaled I would have a barrier to adequate care going forward--this is a common theme in reviews of doctor's offices throughout LC & EP. If you find a doctor with proactive staff willing to make every patient feel like their appointments and follow -ups are key to better long term healthcare, you should stick with that provider. Dr. Feagan deserves to work in that kind of practice, because he validated my need for care based and established trust in doing so, despite how I'd been made to feel at the sign-in desk, in the waiting area, and while having my vitals taken.

Urgency was my priority because of familial medical history related to the symptoms I made my appointment regarding. If I were seeking care today in an underserved community he provided care in, I would certainly trust him to oversee my care again.
