My mother ran out of b/P med 5 days before her scheduled appt. She is being refused a 5 day refill for her b/P related to a 40.00 dollar co pay that is past due and even said she can pay Monday when she comes in for appt. She has seen this doc for 3yrs! Always paid her bills and kept her scheduled appts. So today I will have to take her to the hospital to get her b/P meds so she doesn't have a stroke! My mother is scheduled every 3 months to see her because of Thyriod lab work! Which in my opinion is money making scam! Unless your thyroid level are unstable ( hers is not) every 6 months should be enough! Unfortunately I will take her Monday but will be looking for a more honest Doc!

Sohair Rostom has to be the rudest doctor I have ever come in contact with. She is not safe, should not be practicing medicine. Her staff I rated as OK but I imagine it must be difficult to work with her, I empathize their position.

Most of the staff are just as impersonal and ingenuine as the doctor. The office is always behind- Ive waited up to 2 hours to be seen before, as if my time is not important. Then, once you get in the office, her bedside manner is poor, as her listening skills are poor, she is often rude and abrupt. She is rarely helpful in helping you understand or manage your illness. When asked for a second opinion or a referral, she becomes defensive and rude, as if that is not your right. I felt very disrespected and that my health was not of concern. As far as Im concerned, Dr. Rostom is a dangerous doctor, as she is unprofessional and unethical.
