Dr. Darren Schmidt is a caring, involved nephrologist. When my mother was in the emergency room, Dr. Schmidt was right there seeing to her care. When my mother was in the hospital, Dr. Schmidt monitored her progress and care and took the time to meet with me every day he was on call to up date me on her condition. He answered my questions patiently and when he didn't have an answer, said he did not but would find out. Dr. Schmidt was the first of his group to see my mother. I was grateful for his kindness,professionalism and thorouoghness when speaking with her. I would highly recommend Dr. Schmidt to anyone needing a nephrologist.
