I have been with Dr. Corneal for almost 4 years!! He has carried me through the hardest times. Dr. Corneal has been so understanding. We have been through many procedures and he has been so sensitive, gentle, and understanding. When you have a long term disease he carries you through. The staff is amazing. I feel like family and would or could not leave him or his staff! I feel blessed to have this group! I believe and rely on him completely. Life is not perfect but he works with me and gives me so much hope. The STAFF is AMAZING..!! Even when my insurance changed it is worth the extra monies to see a physician you can trust. I give them all a 5 STARR! I have NO idea where I would be without Dr. Corneal. He gives me the feeling we work as a team.

I had a very negative experience with Dr. Scott Corneal. At my evaluation appt,, he made a terrible first impression on both me and my husband. He was sloppy lookinh, extremely unprofessional and wiped his runny nose with the back of his hand! Disgusting. He examined me on an uncovered examining table. Both things really turned me off and I never should
have come back. But the pain on the right side of my sciatica was so intense, I was
craving relief.. He sent me for an MRI, all the way to Palm Coast. He immediately scheduled an epidural. Doubt if he even looked at the MRI. Had he examined it closely, he would have seen that one of my many herniated discs was leaning on a nerve root. After the 1st injection, I developed shooting pains in my right leg, shin, and could barely feel
my right foot. It was swollen and hurt badly. This pain was nonexistent before the epidural. Instead of giving me an EMG (nerve test) during my evaluation appt, and before the epidural, he gave me the test before the 2nd epidural. My new pain management Dr was appalled that he gave me the 2nd shot after what happened to my right leg after the 1st shot.

I would NEVER recommend Dr. Corneal.

When I asked Dr. Corneal to forward all my test results to my primary dictor, he balled and said that HE was my primary doctor. Not!

Terrible bedside manner, doesn't listen to his patients. Shows no concern or regard for your pain. Believes reducing pain medication before seeing if his procedures and injections actually will reduce the pain. Very pessimistic, he made it clear he can't make the pain go away and has no interest in treating pain with narcotics. I think he may have chosen the wrong field.

Over the years because of moving, etc. I have been to other drs, but Dr Corneal and his staff have been genuinely the best that I have encountered. They listen. They acknowledge. They have had a considerate and compassionate course of action for pain relief.

Left practice because the doctor had one treatment for me and that was it. That didn't work and he was not interested in determining another course of action. Was really very blunt and rude if he was questioned at all. Huge ego and not cooperative in trying t help with the actual pain. Was referred to him and he was a disappointment and allowed me to suffer with no solution.

I've had a series of over a dozen shots in the last 10 years. After a cursory exam, Dr. Corneal suggested another shot. I was in more pain from the procedure (maybe he saves money skimping on Lidocaine) than from my physiological issues. Terrible bedside manner. Hustles you out 5 minutes after the procedure when you should be monitored for at least 15 mins (AMA). Im now on permanent disability. His records contradicted Mayo and Cleveland Clinics and all the other doctors I had seen and were dismissed by SS during determination. Stay away unless you enjoy pain and being treated like cattle.

My husband is going for back pain. Dr is not one to have any conversation with you. Does not discussion his plan for you. Does not discuss options. He gave my husband a shot and my husband asked what to do if it didnt work. Doctor said he would see him in two weeks. I would not reccommend him at all.
