Stay away. Unprofessional. Dr Medvene should be embarrassed and ashamed that her staff treats potential patient this way. I received a return call from the office Twit Stephanie. Who proceeded to tell me that after checking with Insurance co my out of pocket was met and the cost would be $20 per session. We then went on to set an appointment for 3:00 the following day. I mentioned that the Insurance carriers website says Dr Medvene is EAP approved, which means the first 6 sessions were covered. The twit told me she wasn't due to a dispute Dr Medvene has with the insurance contract, she thinks. She then went on to say that she had to call the insurance company to verify my out of pocket? Wait, didn't you already do that?? When she called back she told me the out of pocket was not met and that it would be the standard rate. Okay, see you tomorrow. What she said next earned her the nickname of the Twit!. Sorry that appt has already filled. Maybe you can try next week.

Dr Medvene came highly recommended. I loved our sessions. However there was no follow up when I cancelled appts for anxiety issues, which was disappointing. No patient check as to why I suddenly fell off the schedule.

The Staff, a whole different problem.
Her staff became rude & indignant especially when trying to obtain my records for my disability hearing. I’m shocked at the level of unprofessionalism & incompetence her staff has displayed.

I spent 8 years working for a psychologist, and I was incredibly saddened. I really liked Dr Medvene, finding that fit to discuss personal issues is hard.

I’d like to start this review by letting you (the reader) know that I was seeing Jamie for quite a while. In the beginning, she was very helpful, but as time passed, her helpfulness declined.

She gives hardly any advice.
She’s on her phone more than a 15 year old girl.
She’s late by at least 10 minutes for each appointment and to make matters worse she cuts each session short.

After one missed visit, she dropped me as a patient.

I’ve never felt more like an invoice number in my life.

Dr Medvene is a wonderful therapist and person. She is compassionate, professional, and cares very much for her clients. She is helpful , knowledgeable, punctual and the best therapist I have had in my life.

Although I found this Doctor to be quote knowledgeable, I was highly disappointed by the lack of professionalism on the part of the reception staff. I have been meeting with Jamie quite frequently for the past several years and I have to put it out there and warn others that although she is a great doctor, the communication on the part of her assistant is unethical an unprofessional. The woman will go for weeks without returning calls, even in the event of an emergency..... it is very sad because she is such a good doctor...

I have been seeing Jaime for 1.5 years and she has helped me gain clarity and knowledge regarding issues in my childhood, that rear it's ugly head through my current relationships. She is so positive and so up front in a gentle manner. I have gained vast insight and feel so amazing and confident and can see things I've never seen before. Life is good and I owe Jaime a world of thanks for showing me how fantastic life can truly be when we believe in ourselves. Thanks J

Jamie abandoned me. She all of a sudden stopped responding to my appointment requests when I was in a really vulnerable time in my life. Her staff and making appointments is horrendous and during our sessions, she always seemed distracted by being on her phone and making personal calls. There was never once a time where she wasn't on her phone, basically. Her abandonment traumatized me since I already had abandonment issues.
