Called and canceled appt for Dad because he'd recently passed. Doctor's office called my mother months after my father was gone to confirm his appointment. Doc hadn't known one of his long-time patients had died....would be smart for doctor's offices to communicate with one another so families aren't subjected to more trauma and grief.
