His cursory assessment of my hip problem resolved to "minor arthritis". He failed to observe the tell tale signs of Femoral Acetabular Impingement. I suggest this doc take a CME course on HOW to look for FAI on an X ray. If Dr. Sasson had been familiar with identifying FAI on an X ray, a condition which would explain why my pain was far in excess of "minor arthritis", I would have been spared the discounting and humiliation of the emergency room doctor reading the X ray report who resolved what I had to "anxiety".from "minor arthritis". There is more to paying attention and reading X rays than just ruling out a fracture or seeing minor arthritis. Matters not if it's an emergency room situation which IMO is no excuse for a cursory look. Radiologists should be up to date and ready to report all that can be observed in an X ray. This particular radiologist was not.
