Dr. Bilir saw my Father in the middle of June. My Dad was having chronic diarrhea and was also looking yellow. Dr. Bilir sent him over for some blood work that day. His bilirubin (which should have been 1.2) was 4.8!! But Dr. Bilir didn't call my father or contact him at all. In fact, when my father called the following week to ask why the regimen Dr. Bilir put him on wasn't working, he still obviously didn't read the lab results. Four weeks later when my Father went to his primary doc, he was sent to the hospital immediately (at which point his bilirubin was over 10!). My Father had a liver disease, called PSC, which Dr. Bilir should have been on top of (considering he is supposedly a liver expert). My dad never came out of the hospital and died exactly five weeks after being admitted. The worst part of all, was that when I called Dr. Bilir to ask why he hadn't followed up with the lab results, he gave me the run around and tried to explain himself out of it. What is worse than a negligent doctor??? One that is completely not accountable either.

Dr? I'm not sure about that one. I saw Dr Bilir for a whole year and went through quite a number of tests and he NEVER found anything! Nothing! I was bleeding rectally and he found nothing. I finally went to see another qualified doctor and he found I had a tumor that had gone through the colon wall and had not yet attached itself to my liver or my lungs. Everyone I meet I always let them know that this doctor Bilir is a quack and no one should ever see him unless they want to die young. My new doc, surgeon, oncologist all agree that there was no reason why he did not find that tumor in my colon and they even told him that. I even told Littleton Hospital who referred him to me when I went in bleeding rectally that he didn't find my tumor and that they should never refer him to any other patient. EVER!!!!
