Next time when you see your patients, listen to them and do not cut them off when they are talking. If a patient pays to see the Dr, you should always consider what they ask of you. Some patients go to doctor to be prescribed drugs, other go to receive medical advice, and lastly there are those few of us that want time to recover. If a patient request that you provide them a certain amount of days from work to recover, I don't think it would result in a medical malpractice against you. After all its not as if you were ask to prescribe 6 months supply opioes. There are doctors that actually listen to patients and then there are doctors like you.
