I recently had my first colonoscopy with Dr. Levenson and it was as positive of an experience as it could have been. I am a Type 1 diabetic so I was concerned about regulating my insulin on the day that I had to fast - except for drinking the colon cleansing liquid. Her recommendations were excellent and I had no problems with my diabetes.
I did have a question after the procedure so I called her nurse. I expected the nurse to get back with me but Dr. Levenson was the one who called me. I liked her nice, caring "bed-side manor"!
I did not feel like a number nor did I feel rushed during my pre-op appointment.
The entire staff was caring and helpful and they seemed to enjoy working there.
So, I give Dr. Levenson 5 stars for being a great doctor with a great staff!
Oh and my results were normal - yea!

Colonoscopy scheduled for 10:30 and I arrived 15 minutes early. Wait time in the lobby was a whooping 2 hrs! Went back to the waiting/recovery room in the back at 12:30 to gown up for the procedure only to wait another 2 hrs and 15 minutes. Came out of the procedure and waited another hour to hear results of test and get released. My wife kept going to the nurses to make sure we were not forgotten throughout the day. We were told she had NO emergencies during the morning or day she was just busy. We were finally walking out of her lobby at 4:15! I wish I would have read the reviews of others that have stated pretty much the same thing. The short version is: It took me 6 hours to have a preventative scoop of my colon. It was my 1st one and has left a bad impression for sure. Not an easy thing to have to prepare for and to have that kind of service afterwards is unacceptable in my book.

Apointment was a total of 2&1/2 hrs. Had a procedure and was approached after proceedure that I was late; not a how are you feeling, everything went well but a you were late. I wasn't late I was at the office on time and sat in the waiting room for 15mins before entering the proceedure area. Upon entering the area I was told the doctor wasn't there yet. Waited in the procedure area for an hr before taken back to a prceedure room and everyone was rushing and practically ripped my oxygen out of my nose because the equipment was moved. It seemed everyone was more concerned about hurrying than my comfort. It seems the staff's communication with the was not right. I hate changing doctors but will if necessary.

This is a terrible doctor. Late to appointments. Cannot balance personal problems with professional service requirements. Hires office staff that do not relay messages (or they do and she cannot keep track of them). Will not release medical records without the threat of a lawsuit. Do NOT go to this doctor. She should not be practicing medicine.
