My opinions and views of Dr. Ash are personal (as a patient) and professional (as a member of the field of nursing myself). From the perspective of a patient Dr. Ash is rude, presumptuous, arrogant, uncompassionate and as unprofessional as it gets. On more than one occasion he has belittled, embarrassed and humiliated me both privately and publicly without warrant and under no circumstances would I ever recommend Dr. Ash to anyone for any type of treatment or care. From the perspective of a RN with twenty years of experience in the medical field Dr. Ash is one of the most unethical Doctors that I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. He has repeatedly violated HIPPA Laws concerning his patients and in my professional and medical opinion he defiles the Hippocratic Oath which he swore to uphold.

THE COMPANY THAT EMPLOYS THIS DR. HAS A GREAT STAFF, BUT I WILL NEVER EVER USE HIM AGAIN, I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH HIM IN DOUGLAS AND A FEW MONTHS LATER MY DAUGHTER WAS ISSUED HIM AS HER DR. ON A PROGRAM CALLED WELLCARE IN PEARSON..HE WAS VERY RUDE, CUSSED AND OBNOXIOUS, AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE HIM AND IF FOR SOME REASON YOU GET STUCK WITH HIM AS A ISSUED DR. GET HELP FAST FOR A SECOND OPINION, I THINK ALL THE PA'S AND RECERTIOISTS ARE AWESOM AND I PRAY HIS ATTITUDE AND LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND COMMON SENSE DONT REFLEST ON THE COMPANY, I NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY IN MANY YEARS, BUT I WILL NOT GO BACK IF HE IS THE DR. While in the waiting room he kept looking at me through the glass of the office-weird! When I went back my mom & daughter come to, he made them leave bc of the HIPPA law. I thought that it was up to the patient to decide who is in the room? Just recently my daddy passed away suddenly, my mom was hospitalized & I had finals for college all in one week! So my OBGYN prescribed me 15 nerve pills, I hadn’t even taken all of them & had them for a month! Well this dr. acted like I was just a pill head & terrible person for taking a pill! So I clearly stated “Sir, I do not want you to prescribe me anything, I just want you to find out what is wrong with my back”& he still kept on about the other medicine & he had no reason to even worry about that ya know? I was there for a totally dif. problem! Finally I broke down crying &just left the office. He offended me so bad! Usually students on the Dean’s List in college aren’t pill heads! I would never recommend him to anyone–not even a worst enemy!

Dr. Ash took out my gall bladder. Also took out my common bile duct. Hospital played with the records. I was never told about a bile duct injury. But it is now written in on my records. Two days after surgery he told us he did not know what was wrong. After a doctor in Gainesville GA diagnosed the problem then Ash put it in his notes. I ultimately ended up at Emory in Atlanta. The Doctor there called it Surgical Error. I don't think this guy needs to be operating on anyone. He now has 5 lawsuits against him. I am filing a complaint with the medical board. He needs to not be licensed any further he has pretty much missed my life up.

Dr.Ash is one of the best physicians around I went to him for gallbladder problems he got to the bottom of my problem on Thursday. I was scheduled for preop on Friday and had my gallbladder out on Monday.Dr.Ash I love you and will always be forever grateful to you for saving my life!!! Dr Ashe preformed 3 surgeries on me within a years time. I thought he was great! Personable, caring and obvious professional. One problem he never claimed to be "GOD" and he is man with flaws like all of us!I would have no problems seeing him again should I have a need. None of us in this world are to judge others , but I see a lot of negative judgment here and ask myself why. Did these people do as they were instructed, did they follow doc's orders? Did they keep their appointments,were they persistent I was, and I'm sold that he is a good man and a better doctor then lots of others I have used in the past. I wish him the best in his new endeavor!

it took him 2 minutes to diagnose a problem. never did any tests. operated within 2 days, made 2 incisions to take out tumors. the tumors are still there and twice as big as they were before. i had 2 follow up visits and was still complaining with pain and loratabs make me sick and he kept trying to push those pills on me. i wouldn't recommend him to anyone and i will never ever use him for anything else again.

Dr. Ash was great during my treatment. I know there's alot of negative comments here, but I was treated like a queen; I admire his perserverance and he is very knowledgable in the General Surgery Arena. I would not have ever been a patient at BJC had he not been my doctor. Always know your a credit to the league DR. ASH.
