Dr. Bruno barged into the exam room without knocking in the middle of me changing into the gown. He seemed very rushed and although asked the right questions and seemed knowledgeable he was very impatient and had a terrible bed side manner. His exam was very rough and although I was wincing in pain, even called out once, he couldn't have cared less. I would NOT recommend him to any of my loved ones.

Peter Bruno has ably treated me for arthritic pain in my right knee, left knee and in my shoulder after a bad fall on ice. He's smart, very experienced, and believes in trying everything short of surgery (except in emergencies). I love his small, hometown practice, friendly manner and his staff who know your name. I trust him completely. Go see him!

I have been a patient of Dr. Bruno's for about 2 years for arthritic knees. Dr. Bruno was recommended to me by 3 physician friends that I respect and trust. He is very through, giving me options even though I know I am eventually facing total knee replacement in both knees. He spends the time he needs and explains EVERYTHING! There is a comfort with his wonderful staff tht feels more like family than a sterile doctors office which I like. I highly recommend this doctor and his wonderful staff!

Dr. Bruno came to the hospital at 11pm Saturday night to operate on my husband for a very serious compound fracture of his leg.He stayed until 3am to make sure my husband was alright. He later did follow up surgery to stretch the skin and insert bolts and rods. The leg healed beautifully. It's been ten years and there have been no problems with this leg. Dr. Bruno is well respected among the hospital staff, which says a lot.

I had a back problem. Dr. Bruno was extremely thorough and took the time to explain the problem and potential treatments. When x-rays showed there was a question about further damage, he did not hesitate to order an MRI. The MRI confirmed Dr. Bruno's initial findings and helped give me peace of mind about exactly what was going on. I highly recommend this doctor for orthodedic problems.

Dr. Bruno has treated every member of our family and he is extremely good at explaining how he makes his diagnosis. I appreciate his willingness to answer any and all questions and educate as he examines. He is very thorough on examination, asks lots of questions and carefully manipulates you, makes you walk, etc.. as he observes until he can identify the source of pain. (he has been spot on every time !) some things have needed MRI's but they have all confirmed his earlier disgnosis. They take x-rays on site-- in the next room. And he reads those x-rays in front of you and explains what he sees. My older son had a torn menuscus and he recommended an excellent surgeon. I had a frozen shoulder and he administered a practically painless cortisone shot and physical therapy. I recommend him to anyone I know who needs an orthopedist.

I saw Dr Bruno several years ago on the recommendation of a friend, and it was the single most unpleasant medical visit I've endured. He was rude and abrasive and behaved as I were wasting his time by being there for diagnosis and treatment. His diagnosis was inconclusive and he did nothing to alleviate the pain or the problem. I wouldn't go back to him if he apologized in person, sent a limo to pick me up, and paid me for the visit.
