I have always thought of Dr Yamane to be a very helpful and compassionate dr. I visit maybe 1 every 2 - 3 years. I am fortunate that I do not get sick often. Recently we received notice that he was joining mdvip - a program that allows "more time to get to know the patients" for 1500 a year per person over and above our insurance, we can stay with the practice, if not we need to know find a new dr. With the rising costs of employee contributions for health care, and cost of raising a family - I find that very selfish on his part. Most families cannot afford an additional 1500 per patient per year to see a dr. Especially patients who do not require constant care and contact! Needless to say, I am disappointed.
