Medicaid / Medi-Cal
When I called to make the appointment I had specified my condition and insurance and was assured I would be helped. After waiting an hour and a half and after my insurance was billed I was told I couldn't be helped and "you've been in pain all this time what's a little longer" is what the doctor said to me. He said he couldn't help me because he was no longer accepting medicaid although it's not what I was told when I made the appointment or when my insurance card was taken up front.
