went to e.r. due to hemoraging. 17 weeks pregnant w/first child. was told not priority due to not being 20 weeks. Given a pelvic after waiting 4 1/2 hours, released with vicodin 2 every 4-6 hours, dx:Threatened miscarriage. E.R. was understaffed as per the nurse. only 3 nurses and 2 doctors. Followed up with OB/Gyn, who was upset also that vicodin was given, plus having to wait that long to be seen and treated. ER Doc could have called him.
