Dr. Sturn is one of the best doctors in the world. He saved our daughter life. If he had not diagnosed her condition she would have died at a young age. Four years later he insisted that I get tests to check out symptoms that I had for several months. He saved my life. He is very thorough, he takes time to answer your questions. This is rare.

Dr Sturn runs his office on a shoestring budget and it shows. Long wait times are standard operating procedure, even for the first appointment of the day. Part time, unprofessional receptionist. No billing help. No nursing staff. Dr does bare minimum required and frequently quotes "I am not putting my license at risk for anyone." Refuses to authorize refills for long term care medicine without a call from the pharmacy. Doesn't follow up with referrals and requests from other offices in a timely manner. Doesn't arrange for backup when he is out of the office. Very inflexible and frequently condescending and arrogant.

In a world where doctors make you feel like you are just a number or a dollar sign, there is a shining light in this profession, and his name is Dr. Sturn. Not only is he knowledgeable and always most gracious, but he is the type of person that you wish you had as a next door neighbor. I look forward to my period visits and always feel as if I am saying so long to a friend when I leave his office

I was a new patient, running out of my prescription from another doctor, and I called at just about the last possible minute. Dulce, his receptionist, was able to squeeze me in before I ran out of my medicine. She was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Dr. Sturn does everything himself--no nurses or physician's assistants. He worked with me one on one and spent a little extra time to make sure I understood everything fully. He was extremely nice and has a terrific bedside manner. I felt like an actual human patient in his office, whereas I was a customer in my previous doctor's office. I am looking forward to my next visit.

My entire family has been leaving this practice one by one. Dr Sturn, overall, has his positives,< one man show, more time with patients> but when my husband began to see him < and he is an RN> he left after 2 visits. He refused to give him medication that he had been on for over 5 years that was given to him by his previous doc post sleep study. His sleeping patterns went back to the way they were 10 years ago. Shaking, jumping and waking up numerous times through the night. Not good when he has to care for patients himself 12 hours a day. It took him extra visits to the neurologist to get all his meds readjusted. It became an expensive nightmare. We went with all of his prior medical records that were given to Dr Sturn and now magically disappeared when he requested them back so he could start looking for another doctor! The office manager in not medical, unprofessional, and when she lost all our records that was the last straw.

Dr Sturn is a great doctor and is very knowledgable and friendly. His office manager, Magella, is rude, and not organized. When I asked her if she received my medical records, she said "I'm busy". Third time I have heard her say this and I was very sick (I said so). If you want a referral, forget about it. I don't want to change Doctors, but may do so because of the office manager.

I have seen Dr. Sturn about 3 times. Originally he seemed knowledgable and caring. Now it's obvious that his tactic is to schedule as many repeat visits as possible. His receptionist is not just an ignorant old lady, she is a ****. When I asked if I needed to take my business elsewhere she hung up on me.

Dr. Sturn is AWESOME. I don't know how some of these negative posters can say he has a poor bedside manner because is personable and caring. I've always been happy with my care from him. His staff is helpful and I've never had a problem getting in to see Dr. Sturn. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Sturn was very professional with me. He listened to everything I had to say and was very thoughtful in his responses. He respected the fact that I did not want to be placed on a certain medication and suggested other options. I rarely ever saw my previous doctor - always a nurse practitioner unless appointments were made SPECIFICALLY with the doctor. I find it refreshing that I can call the office, get an appointment when I want one, and actually see Dr. Sturn.

He treats me like a person, not like cattle. I have been going to his office for over a year.
