Dr. Bozaan was very informative and talked to us where we understood what he was saying and was very easy to talk to. I has sigmoid resection surgery and had complications he was wonderful throughout it all. I was in through the holidays and he called daily and spoke to me on the phone wanted to know if i had any questions or concerns even though he was on vacation with his family. When i was discharged he himself called me at home to check on me 2 or 3 times. He goes above and beyond and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Bozaan was completely professional, educated my wife and I on our options and acted on our decision quickly. If a similar issue arises again, we would not hesitate to call him again. A+

On 8/08/2013 my wife was referred to Dr. Bozaan by Dr. Zawisa to evaluate her concern with abdominal pain with bloating. As seen in Surgical Services Routing slip of 08.09.2013 of Saint Joseph Brighton, my wife reported about having abdominal pain, joint pain, anxiety, fatigue, night sweats, and appetite loss – symptoms indicating potential cancer. Dr. Bozaan’s examination showed abdominal tenderness near umbilicus and abdominal fullness. Without any testing (CT or ultrasound scanning), Dr. Bozaan agreed with Dr. Zawisa assumption about my wife having an umbilical hernia and prescribed her a surgery the following week (8/15/2013). He was not able to recognize that my wife had ascites as it was found in the Emergency Room of Saint Joseph Hospital in Howell in a few hours later. My wife passed away from gastric cancer last year. Her medical records fully support this review.
