She has a lot of experience and a lot of knowledge. She gives me examples and advice based on that knowledge. I wanted to know more about myself. I wasn't sure about myself, so now I'm recovering my self-esteem through counseling with her and I'm living a happy life. Her support and advice can lead me to the center of my life. I found out that it was special, and I will meet and maintain her, and I will continue to live with wisdom and cleverness, saying, "I know myself well and my life has become the main character." I recommend meeting her to someone who needs help like me.

Dr.Kyung has supported me for the past two years. She was very professional in reducing my anxiety, and always gave me suggestions to solve me concerns. Also, she is very friendly and easy to reach, e.g. when I felt really down at some moment, she was willing to arrange additional meeting with me outside normal hours. Thank you Dr.Kyung!

In the two odd years I've been a patient of Kyung So's she's been more than accommodating and patient with me on several occasions. Sometimes her recommendations don't land with me but I've found it productive to flag those when we come to them--especially since she's adept at de-fusing whatever pressure points these disagreements flare up for me. As a result of those instances, I've gotten a lot better at managing difficult conversations and identifying the boundaries I take for granted.

Dr. So has supported me through a very dark period of my life following a loss of a loved one. There are some days where I do feel sad about my loss (which is typical of grief/bereavement) but I’m able to overcome it in a healthier manner using the information/techniques I’ve learned during our sessions. Dr. So has also helped me process my past traumas, allowing me to gain insight as to how those experiences influence my current lifestyle choices so that I can work towards making positive changes. If you’re looking to understand yourself better and have a desire to take actionable steps to improve your overall well-being, I would highly recommend Dr. So.

I begun to see Dr.So in person prior to the pandemic and luckily continued to see her on a weekly basis through video calls. If it weren’t for our weekly meetings, I am not sure I would be as mentally and emotionally strong as I am today. Dr. So has helped me develop healthy habits in my life that lessen the stress and turmoil I experience in school, work, and my relationships. She has especially helped me navigate issues in my relationships, helping me see different perspectives and identify patterns in my relationships. Her insight has made a world of difference in the way I now engage people in my life. She is incredibly generous with her time and advice and only has her patient’s bests interests in mind. I highly recommend seeing Dr. So if you are looking for someone who can help you get yourself out of a rut. Just remember that therapy is a two-way street, and Dr. So can only help you if you are committed to helping yourself.

I've seen her only for few months, but boy, she was right on points on lots of parts. Dr. So was insightful, thoughtful, humorous and caring. She is knowledgeable and nice. I don't know about any 1 or 2 stars review down there.

I’ve been seeing Dr. So for about 3 years now and she’s helped me so much within those years. She’s really understanding and honest with her advice when needed. She always makes sure to reassure you that what you’re feeling is valid and not completely your fault. I definitely recommend that you reach out to her if looking for extra help!

Dr. So's holistic approach to therapy was tremendously helpful to me. I sought her help during one of the most tumultuous, toxic relationships I'd ever been in, one that I was stuck in as a result of low self-esteem issues, savior's complex, and co-dependency problems. Dr. So quite literally saved my life. It never occurred to me that so many aspects of physical health were tied to my mental health, and she got me back on track after derailing hard.

My treatment started with establishing a routine: wake up and go to sleep on schedule, eat healthy and nutritionally varied meals, don't work outside of work hours, cut out any drugs/alcohol, etc. Once my physical needs were met, we immediately identified and addressed past traumas which were used to root-caused many of my current ailings (stress at work, toxic relationship, substance abuse, general dissatisfaction with my state of being). During our sessions, I never felt judged, and she made me feel very safe and secure. She made sure that I received a balanced amount of acknowledgement of my feelings as well as a solid reality check when my feelings did not match the reality of things.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. So if you're someone who is not afraid to identify problems in your life and are inspired to make changes. If you go in with an open mind and heart as well as a balanced view of your own self, Dr. So will help you leverage your strengths to overcome your weaknesses. If you go in expecting ONLY validation of your feelings, you will not appreciate the reality checks that come along with Dr. So's methods. (Looking at you, 1 star reviewers)
