I’ve been seeing Dr. Kennedy for many years & have thought of finding a new doctor many times for different reasons. I am morbidity obese but he never mentions it other than stating my BMI but doesn’t talk about weight or diets & options. After researching gastric bypass surgery & attending a class I told him I had been thinking about it & who he recommend (I don’t need a referral for insurance but wanted his input). He got angry with me & said he didn’t recommend anyone that he didn’t believe in it. But he didn’t give me alternatives or diets etc. he made me cry. My Nephology & Cardiologist doctors asked if I’ve considered it & I told them what Kennedy said. They both thought it was an option but want me to go back & talk to Kennedy since he’s my primary physician. I don’t want to go back to him!!! He made me feel insignificant & was vary rude & mean. I may try dieting again but I will be finding a new doctor regardless of my choice in losing weight.

I suffer from chronic pain from multiple injuries that I've incurred during my time in the Army. My primary care doctor had been throwing various muscle relaxers at me, none of which worked. One week I was on the couch for about 4 of the 7 days; not ideal when all you want to do is spend time with your kids. I went to urgent care and after over an hour of waiting I met Dr. Kennedy who was short, inattentive and lectured me as if I was a druggy. He then proceeded to argue with my wife, to include taking a threatening stance when approaching her when she stated he wasn't listening. I simply mentioned that painkillers have helped me in the past but pointed out that I was open to any recommendations. I was told to ice it, stretch, relax, see a physical therapist- all of which I stated I had done over the years in the Army. He then rudely repeated, verbatim, the same sentences... It was the oddest experience, I thought I was in an episode of the Twilight Zone. 0/10

He is the WORST. Greedy, cares only about making money. Has terrible bedside manners and is offensive.

This physician chooses not to touch his patients even for a yearly physical. A friend who had gone to him had the same experience . Dr. Kennedy explained the results of my blood work and typed in his computer the information from the visit. I found it strange that he did not examine my body at all when I came in for annual exam. I had bathed and was clean and was not displaying any symptoms of illness that day, but I felt like I had cooties when he did not touch. Dr. Kennedy does not seem open to his patients doing their own research. He was condescending when I had concerns about particular symptoms of heart problems. He prescribes medicine to treat symptoms rather than finding out the cause.

He did not meet the appointment his staff made and which was confirmed. No one on staff explained why he was 30 minutes late for the appointment. This is uncharacteristic of him. He is normally very punctual, but today was a very busy time for me. To be mistreated this way is unacceptable. They made a call to confirm appointment. I laid aside all business to be there on time, actually early, he was in office and 30 minutes after arriving, no one bothered to say why he did not see me at the appointed hour.

Dr. Kennedy has the worst bedside manner I have seen in a doctor in a long time. I have never experienced a doctor that did not listen to my concerns and questions with sympathy or empathy. All he was worried about was telling my husband (who was in a violent car accident) that it takes time to heal. Did not order any kind of xrays or scans or MRIs to see if there was anything going on internally that is causing my husband's pain. WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS FACILITY. HE IS RUDE AND UNCARING.

Dr. Kennedy is always attentive and listens to my concerns. He takes time to make sure I understand what he is saying. He seems to genuinely enjoy what his profession and isn't just pushing me out the door to get to his next patient. I recommend him highly. You couldn't have a better family doctor than him.
