Diagnoses conditions incorrectly and outside her area of expertise. Prescribed anti-psychotic for condition I wasn't suffering from, and do suggested I may be bi-polar. I have no psychological issues whatsoever. Her notes for my first visit consisted mostly of "and on and on" in reference to my explanation as to why I came to see her. Very unprofessional.

When my GP recommended that I see an infectious disease specialist a friend of mine recommended that I see Dr. Bock, I still don't understand how that friend thought she was a good idea but I thought I would give it a try. I was a little nervous after entering her office and feeling like it was a throw back to the 80's but who was I to judge a book by its cover, boy was I wrong, I should have listened to my gut and walked back out the door. The front desk lady was very welcoming and friendly, however I found it odd the secretary also takes your blood pressure and temperature as if she is a nurse, but maybe they are just efficient. When I finally met with Dr. Bock ( literally 40 min after my scheduled appointment) I soon could tell this was going to be a waste of my time and money. Her inability to connect and listen to a patient is shocking. She is what I would call "socially awkward", which is not very reassuring to a patient. Horrible experience to say the least.

Dr. Bock is an expert in her field. She is very nice and thorough. She is a great listener and explains treatment options well. Dr. Bock is very detailed and stays up to date on the latest protocols. The office staff is very competent.

I was a patient of Dr. Bock's in 1983 when I had toxic shock syndrome. If it wasn't for her I would not be alive today. She provided EXCELLENT care and I am eternally grateful to her!

Infectious Disease doctor (not allergist)helped me get over a very serious sinus infection. Coordinated with my other doctors. Calls me back when I call her. Knows her stuff.

I waited 2 hours for my appointment. Then when I did finally see her she hurried thru the appointment, the office staff tol me it would last an hour, I would be surprised if it was 20 minutes! Her paperwork requested detailed information , yet she didn't read it. She made snap judgements, which were incorrect...if she had bothered to read the paperwork carefully she would have noticed her mistakes. I thought she was abrasive, uncooperative and dismissive. It was a humiliating experience, I felt much worse when I left her office. I truely hope she was just having a bad day and doesn't always treat her patients so roughly.

Dr. Bock is an outstanding physician and is well-recognized in the medical community here. She provided me with knowledge, hope and inspiration in dealing with a very tough issue (HIV), while at the same time being very honest and straightforward about my prospects -- she gets it and is a terrific person. Under Dr. Bock's care during the past three years, I have continued to improve and am relatively healthy today given my condition; I am very thankful for her care. I would highly recommend Dr. Bock to anyone with a serious infectious disease. It's clear she is practicing medicine for all the right reasons. BTW, her staff is great also.

VERY low-key, non BS. Not a money-grabber. She made HIV MUCH easier to deal with and understand. I am an RN and I recommend her highly!
