Very difficult office to work with but competent physician who returns call and is knowledgeable. No one ever answers the phone and one is guided through a long litany of instructions to leave a message to have a particular need addressed like making an appointment or a script refill. One almost feels as though they are calling Comcast. The office is clean and organized but in a slightly undesirable location; there are bars on the windows. The entrance is at ground level so there is easy access to those who do not like elevators or have limited mobility. The doctor is personable but somewhat dictatorial and does not like to be questioned. He provides good care but the office policies and procedures are not patient friendly in any way. It is difficult to get a referral to a specialist if you have an HMO. Many reviewers complain that they can only see him once a year and that it is difficult to get a non-annual exam apt. We never tried so we do not know if this is accurate. We feel he is a good doctor with very stringent office procedures that do it always work well for the patient.
