My mother was referred to a rheumatologist, after finding antinuclear antibodies in her blood. She'd been with anemia, joint stiffness, skin discomfort, skin hardening, skin color changes. She'd been sick for about 7 months, went to an MD, gastroenterologist, hematologist. Dr. Singleton on the first visit told us of her possible diagnosis; Scleroderma or Crest. She did not draw blood b/c my mom had been so weak. When my mother had her second endoscopy they found bleeding in her stomach; watermelon stomache; which Dr. Singleton had suspected caused by telangiectasia.Dr. Singleton is treating my mother for Crest. Thank you Dr. Singleton; may God Bless you!
