My fiance is mainly bedridden due to an excruciating condition, but he made the trip to see Dr. Goldlust with hope in his heart.
After we got there early, we sat there cooling our heels for at least an hour and a half past the appointment time. All the while we listened to clients come in, try to check in, only to be told that their appointments were nonexistent, and would have to be rescheduled.. over and over again! Once my fiance was called back, the doctor came in with a less than apologetic attitude. I witnessed him being very dismissive, arrogant, and abrasive to my fiance who's already in agonizing pain. He didn't want to speak to us or discuss anything.
He was not gentle, he was not sympathetic, and I saw him manhandle my fiance with disregard to his physical condition, in a very sensitive area causing him to double over in pain! He's already fighting for his life because of his life-threatening medical condition.
We have been in and out of hospitals trying to advocate for his health care. You know, second, and third opinions?! Because we confided this information, my fiance had to defend his use of more than one Hospital to this accusatory man who couldn't be bothered to read his chart,- after making us wait all that time!
He seemed really disappointed he couldn't send him off for more random testing, because his medical information was up to date. It was really awful! I felt terrible to to watch him crush my fiance literally and figuratively! He rushed us out saying there's nothing he could do for him. That may be the truth, but he could have at least been kind or pretended to care! It was a terrible experience that was deeply upsetting! I recommend that people do themselves a favor and avoid this place at all costs!

After calling to explain my frustration with the process of my wife being in the hospital due to Dr. Goldlust's lack of care, I called the practice to speak with a manager. Mind you, my wife was in the hospital due to this ineptitude. After speaking with someone in the office, they claimed my wife cancelled a follow up appointment in January which would have been an opportunity for her to plead her case regarding needing to have lithotripsy or some other medical intervention done for her 4mm stone. The problem is, my wife was so upset after hearing the Doctor tell her to pass it on her own in spite of her condition, she cancelled the appointment to find another urology practice. I still requested to hear from a manager of some kind, but heard nothing back from this practice. Absolutely terrible!

Dr. Goldlust is a monster. I have a 4 mm. obstructing kidney stone that landed me in the ER. I followed up with Dr. Goldlust and his "plan-of-action" was to let it pass. I begged for proactive medical intervention. He told me the stone was too small for lithotripsy. I explained I had lithotripsy for a 3 mm. stone in 2012 and he insinuated that I was mistaken or lying. When I continued to ask for some type of proactive intervention, he basically told me to fake being in extreme pain and show up in the ER that evening and then I could be added to the surgery list for a stent or ureteroscopy. Fast-forward to mid-February and I landed in the ER again for renal colic and a complicated UTI that had me hospitalized for 5 days. I had to wait 60 hours to get a stent put in. They couldn't do the ureteroscopy because the complicated UTI would've put me at-risk for sepsis. So now I have to wait for the UTI to clear up, follow-up with the urologist, have a ureteroscopy and then have the stent in for a few weeks afterwards. This could've all been avoided if Dr. Goldlust had done something proactively. Also, the urologist who put my stent in noted that my left ureter was "tight" so the 4 mm. stone will NOT pass on its own. Again, this whole nightmare could've been avoided if he had just done as I asked/begged. He should be reprimanded and punished for his lack of care and his negligence with regards to my case.

Dr. Goldlust is an expert in his field. That, combined with his sincere caring make him soar above other doctors in his field. He is compassionate and makes you feel like more than just a number. That is something truly lacking nowadays. I had another office set me up for a procedure a month away. I really couldn’t wait but they didn’t care. Dr. Goldlust saw the condition I was in and had the procedure done that week. I am so happy with him I would pay cash if he didn’t accept my insurance and I would travel to Pennsylvania or New York to see him. When I find a doctor as wonderful as him I will do anything to see him.

Staff is very friendly. Dr. Goldlust is very patient and never rushes me out. Everyone makes sure that my scheduled time is met. I will be back in 4 months.
