DR Fish did a total Rotator Cuff repair. It is a long painful process but it is getting better every day. I was impressed with the app and the communication for weeks after the surgery. Thanks Dr. Fish and staff.

Dr. Mark Fish is far & above the best of the best in the state of Iowa if not the country. He cares - genuinely- and you can bet your life he'll do quality work no matter what age you are. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Great staff too.

Dr. Fish's assistant "John" will not call you back. 3 messages out to him currently and still nothing. I feel we are just out here alone with tons of questions not knowing if we are doing things right. I think you need a nursing degree just to help loved ones after a surgery that use to get 5-7 days in a hospital and is now outpatient surgery. They wrote my husband a prescription the day of surgery that requires a pre cert and today is day 6 after surgery and still no prescription and his pain is getting out of control.. Be prepared thanks to a uncaring assistant to be on your own after surgery.

You never get to talk to a live person. "John", Dr Fish's assistant never returns calls but asks you not to leave repeated messages. The office charged $50 to release medical information. Not a good office experience.

Had knee surgery for torn medial meniscus and 5 large floating bone chips after a fall down flight of stairs. I was off crutches after only 2 days; I'm completely pain-free now, after a year, and can't even find the scar! Fantastic surgeon. Highly recommend for your knee work. (I'm older, too, at 57.)
