Dr Swapna Joseph is the Indian female version of Dr Joseph Mengele - she permitted the docs at Lutheran Hospital, whom she called the "experts" to give my husband an antibiotic that threw him into kidney failure ( he has congestive hear failure and it doesn't take a 2nd grade education to figure out that this is a recipe for a problem at best, and disaster at worst) - and all this despite the fact that she is a nephrologist - to add insult to injury she told me that, after all, "he's 83 years old and what could he expect" - she said she had to defer to the experts and took no responsibility for allowing this to happen - my question is why have hospitalists at all - and certainly why people lie her ?-
