If I could give 0 stars, I would. Don't walk, run away from this doctor. Due to Dr. Vallone's negligence and substandard care I have permanent damage to my toe tendon which may cause issues and pain later on. I just finished my third corrective foot surgery because of Dr. Vallone's mistakes.

One year ago, I had a bunionectomy done by Dr. Vallone, which has turned into a nightmare. A week after my first procedure the surgical screw that was placed in my foot by Dr. Vallone came loose. This was extremely painful, I was unable to put any weight on my foot. At my follow-up appointment Dr. Vallone stated that this had happened to a previous patient and scheduled me for another surgery to fix it the following week. During this procedure, Dr. Vallone removed the screw and replaced it with 2 pins instead.

Unfortunately, this corrective procedure did not work. My big toe was completely immobile and pointed down and inward. After 2 months of pain (and many x-rays and consults with Dr. Vallone), I sought a second opinion from another podiatrist.

My new doctor was shocked by what Dr. Vallone had done. He said that he had never seen anything like it before. He explained that Dr. Vallone had replaced the screw with 2 very large pins, which were placed ¾ inch outside of the bone and poked through the bottom of my foot. No wonder I was in pain.

My new doctor scheduled a corrective surgery that same week to remove both pins Dr. Vallone put in my toe. I've been in physical therapy for months to improve my ability to walk. I had my 4th surgery this week to continue fixing his mistakes.

I believe Dr. Vallone is a kind man but his negligence caused me permenant damage, months of pain and 3 corrective surgeries which at my age, 67, are not a joke. I would not recommend seeing this provider.

I’m veteran and requested to see Doctor Vallone her staff gives me every excuses to deny my treatment her staff told me over the phone that I need my providers approval and I did get my approval but her staff refuses to verify. it I’m not sure what the mental condition of her staff on why they would do something like that based on this experience I wish that Drs Vallone’s license to practice medicine I permanently revoked

Dr. Vallone has great "bedside manner." He is kind and friendly and explains procedures well. He also takes the time to answer all your questions. However, my foot is in worse shape after three surgeries than when I sought help from him for a bunion. The area around my big toe metatarsal joint is still swollen after three years and I can't bend the toe. I can't wear most of my shoes and it hurts when I walk. Now he wants to do a fourth surgery! I sought a second opinion from an orthopedist, who suggested I avoid further surgery and try to find ways to live with it. He recommended a certain shoe insert that helps somewhat.

Caused more problems after his care. Took no responsibility for it. I'd avoid him if I had a chance. Too late for me.

Very dissatisfied with Dr, Vallone's work. Almost two years after bilateral bunion surgery, the surgical site remains red and excoriated on the left foot and the bunion has returned on the right foot. I would never recommend him to anyone.

My foot didn't hurt anymore, after my visit with Dr. Vallone. I had been in excruciating pain and he fixed it. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and eager to help. Kay in the front office got me in to see him within 24 hours of my complaining about my foot pain. I had been to see him once before and will go back to him, but hopefully I won' need to.
