I do believe this doctor had good intentions, but issues were present:
- I had an eardrum perforation for a year. After being observed by his colleague I learned that I eardrum scarring around the hole making it unlikely to heal without debridement. Dr. Knipe placed a paper patch on my eardrum perforation without this procedure of debridement and it did not close the hole, but slid off. I wish he would have allowed me to skip this procedure if debridement was not an option to ensure success
- He also did not take take seriously my concerns of ear itching on the other side of the eardrum. I applied the cream he prescribed to entrance of the outer ear canal, but that wouldn’t resolve deeper itching.
- Information was not registering with oral conversation and this would reflect in care.

I was very surprised with this doctor! He is very caring and take time to explain to you everything is going on. Right away he sent to a cat scan and gave me the results. Thanks a lot!

Love Dr. Knipe. He removed what I call a tumor, he called it a cyst, from my sinus. He did a great job, not only with the surgery, but explaining everything. It made things so much easier for me.
