I was referred to her office by my OB/GYN office which isn't the greatest either (FWMG). From the very first appt. it was terrible... I met with her, with her Nutritionist and immediately was put on insulin without even trying to work something out with me using diet/exercise. (I am being seen for Gestational diabetes) When I got to my pharmacy that evening to pick up my meds they had forgotten to prescribe me test strips for my glucose monitor...(way to go Dr. and staff). After several attempts to contact them so they could send my prescription for the strips (once via their patient portal and also tried calling them a few times with no answer) for god's sake this is a Dr.'s office how are you not going to bother answering the phone!!! Just when I thought all hope was lost I miraculously got a call from my OB/GYN and I explained the whole story to them and they said they would try to get ahold of them and let them know that I needed test strips. OMG!!! I have no faith in either one of these places anymore (I highly DO NOT recommend Fresno Women's Medical Group or Diabetes & Endocrine Specialties to anyone!!! Just plain terrible service all around.

I didn't give her as much of a chance to treat me as I could have due to poor handling by staff. She seemed courteous and knowledge enough. Her assistant was very harsh with me during the information gathering before I saw Dr. Srikanth. She seemed to challenge my knowledge and questions about the disorder. She also demanded I prove I did not have a symptom that I knew I did not. The front office staff appeared too busy speaking with each other about non-business related things to give me an appointment. As I stood there stupidly after being violated by the Dr.'s assistant, I was finally handed an appointment card in which I had no input in making. That is, I was never asked what a good day and time was, etc. Are they used to patients that have nothing to do every weekday? Dr. Skrikanth, please speak to your staff. I have long since moved else where in town where these issues are not present. Your staff reflects on you to your patients.
