I brought my brother to the ER due to an abcess in his throat that was restricitng his airway. He came in right away to see what was going on,and said he was going to have the nurse set up for a procedure to open his airway further. We waited for over an hour for someone to come back and check oon him. During the procedure (My husband and I witnessed) He sprayed numbing spray to numb the back of his throat and somehow ended up spraying the side of my brothers face. During the procedure my brother was not completly numb in the area they were draining and Dr. Zeitz and the nurse did nothing to further comfort him. My brother was poked about 10 times before they finally gave up. He was very sore and had broken out in hives from the spray. we waited 2 hours for a prescription we never got and not once did anyone come back to check on him. It was awful. He treated us disrespectfully and had no concern for his patients.

If you ever get this doctor while visiting the ER, I would request a new one immediately! He is disrespectful and arrogant! Dr. Zeitz did not treat me as a human being let alone a patient that was in extreme pain at the time of my visit. He failed to listen to what I came to the ER for, and accused me of not only coming in to get prescription for pain pills, but that I only came because it was convenient. As the patient, I have had back pain for many years, and visited the ER on 6/3 because something else in my back had gone wrong - and I was losing all feelings in my left foot and leg. He showed no concern. He is horrible person/doctor!! He sat and just watched me cry, and continued to shout and ask what we wanted him to do. It was a horrible experience, and I would request a new doctor immediately!
