I'd like to take this opportunity and thank Dr. Ania Pollack for her excellent care and genuine concern about the progress of my recovery from the anterior corpectomy last winter. Several months after my surgery, I was still experiencing some level of pain and discomfort. I called Dr. Pollack with several questions; she took my call immediately and answered all my questions, explaining in detail what I was to expect after such a serious surgery. She gave me all the time I needed and left me with a feeling that my health and well being really mattered to her. What more can a patient expect? I feel very fortunate to have had such a kind and professional doctor.

Dr. Pollack is a wonderful physician, surgeon and human being. She is not only extremely professional, but also very compassionate. I felt I was taken care by a great doctor and a great person. She explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. Her staff was great and I felt very well cared for. I hope I could have given her higher mark than 5. Thank you Dr. Pollack – you saved and changed my life.

I seriously hope I caught her on a bad day. Maybe she just didn't want to handle my case. I found her rude & arrogant. I had a large tumor and she explained my condition, which she considered serious. Removal of the tumor and reconstruction of part of the skull would be necessary. She said the surgery would take 18 hours spread on three sessions with ICU time in between. She was to take my case before the surgical board and contact me within a week. Four months passed before I heard from them. My calls to her office were not returned. The call I did get only wanted to know if I was getting treatment elsewhere. I did get treatment elsewhere. The surgery took 8 hours and was successful. I think statements like "I guess you don't know what that is" and "after all I am giving you my time" are rude and unprofessional.

Dr. Pollack is a wonderful physician, who knows her field of specialty extremely well. Wish you could give her a 10 because she went out of her way in doing her very best in treating my mother who had a brain tumor. We feel very blessed to have her as our mother's doctor, and are very thankful. What a wonderful gift she has given our family during this holiday season (Thanksgiving). Thank you Dr. Pollack for going over and beyond our expectations!

I accompanied a friend on his neurosurgical consult to Dr. Pollack. Her and her whole staff were thorough, friendly, and patient. She took quite a bit of time to explain everything in great detail. It was clear during the visit that she had carefully read each frame of the MRI films, not just relying on the radiologist's opinion. At no time during the visit did we feel rushed. She presented all of the information, answered all of our questions. I felt she was very reassuring and would have no trouble recommending her to anyone in my family.
