Doctor operated on me after I fell and broke my hip. We met in the hospital. Dr.Merritt explained the operation details clearly and spoke to me with confidence that he had the experience to do the job successfully, which he did. After the operation I experienced no pain and was only on pain medication for 3 days. I was back dancing 3 days a week in about 6 months. I am 74 years old and can't say enough about Dr. Merritt. His office is very clean and efficient. My inpatient rehab at National Health Center was excellent even though the food was not the greatest. Out patient rehab at Amedisys and Atlantic Rehab was also excellent.
