Worst counselor/therapist ever. I had to see another therapist just to talk about the sessions I had with him.

Dr. Krause is very knowledgeable, understanding and prompt. When making appointments the person on the other end is not always friendly; however, I do not base their attitude on the rating of Dr. Krause.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with this doctor and staff. Please don’t waste your time this group. Lots of other good doctors out there.

I found Dr. Krause to be the most condescending, rude and egotistical doctor I’ve ever met! His approach to treating my migraines was more or less to ignore it and not to let others know I was in pain. Also, instructed to not discuss my pain with anyone! He’s a Jerk and I will never go back to him!!

Dr. Krause is a crucial member of the IMATCH program and holds a key position in my ongoing management of migraine. He is the most knowledgeable staff I've encountered regarding the management of chronic pain so as to create high quality of life. Dr. Krause knows his stuff and his patience. The work I did with Dr. Krause in examining other factors impacting my migraines and choices I make in multiple areas of my life. He helped me find and open the door to a number of life areas in order to move past chronic pain. If you're willing to do the work, he's your guy. If all you are seeking is pain relief and have a short term vision for yourself, go elsewhere. Super smart, genuinely cares, and gets his patients. Couldn't ask for better.

I saw Dr. Krause as part of the IMATCH program. I found that the issues referenced above were crucial in my obtaining a high quality of life despite chronic pain for which there is no cure. I credit Dr. Krause with being a major component in my "Recovery". If you are seeking a way out of pain and there is a cure for you, then the program is not appropriate for you. If you truly have a medical condition (ie headache/migraine/facial pain) for which there is no cure, then this is absolutely the best around. Dr. Krause is masterful at helping patients identify and begin to address the emotional components, relaxation and other medical strategies. He also tells it like it is in a way without judgement. Excellent physician.

I suffer from chronic facial pain that has recently been diagnosed as Trigeminal Neuralgia. I had an appointment with this psychologist to discuss Cleveland Clinic's Imatch program for pain management. I was basically told to stop talking about my pain, that I should stop looking for an answer (which I did find one a year later no thanks to him), and not seek support from family members. I was told to force myself to go to a function even if I was in horrible pain. I left the appointment in tears. Thankfully I found a different psychologist who is more caring and understanding.
