I don't know if this was same doctor back then but his name was Dr. CRAIG and he saved my son's life due to gallbladder burst in another facility that he had been at for 2 months. My son also had infections all over inside his stomach. This was in 2006. Our family thought Dr. Craig did an awesome job and son was in Billings Clinic for about 6 months under his care.

In addition to lack of interest in anything but cutting and sewing, Craig is part of a greedy general surgical surgical mill at Deaconess: Fee of $2,272 for 1/2 hour mediport placement with zero postop visits. Compare to Drs. X&Y at St Vincent of $2285 for 2-1/2 hr modified radical mastectomy with axillary dissection and 6 postop visits or Dr. Z St Vincent of $1532 for 1-1/2 hour simple mastectomy with 3 postop visits.

Technically adequate, but projects an attitude of total distain and disinterest in anything related to the surgical process that does not take place between skin open and skin closed with the meter ticking. This includes things like infection control, the in-facility recovery process before discharge, patient outcome. Our family will never use his services again under any circumstances because we consider him to be a technician rather than a true physician. Projected arrogance exceeds that of most surgeons, although he is courteous.
