I love Dr. Moore. My 15 year old son has been a patient for 8 years. Today we had a well visit appointment
And when I arrived I was told that I owe $50 for no-shows. I said I don’t know what you’re talking about I rescheduled the office manager who is rude , and disrespectful told me I have a history of no-shows. I didn’t even know what she was talking about. I explained that the first time I rescheduled no one mentioned any type of fee or any type of issue. I told her I did not agree with $50 and I wasn’t going to pay it so can I please see Dr. Moore speak to him. She refused to allow me to speak to Dr. Moore which I think that’s refusal of medical care, which I said. Then she told me if I’m not gonna pay the $50 I have to find anThen she told me if I’m not going to pay the $50 “then you need to find a new pediatrician”. Ok fine, I would still like to see Dr. Moore determinate care and this relationship. No. How can I have a history of no-shows when I didn’t even know there was an issue? How can you be able to an expectation that you don’t know? Her response was there signs all over the place. Even my son said “how are you supposed to see the signs if you’re not here.” I understand having to do that type of job however, it’s not what you do it’s how you do it. I think she may want to work somewhere other than a medical office. In 8 years- there has never been an issue. And then I’m a key was in the history of no-shows and owe $50? And then you refuse to treat my kid I don’t even think that’s legal. If you insist that I have to pay the $50 and I don’t pay it you can put it into collections you can’t refuse service. This isn’t a car wash. It’s unfortunate

I had a serious issue for which I took my son. Wait time was over an hour. I offered to come back another day and they kept telling me that he would be seen soon. When finally seen, he was glanced over, my concerns were not listened to and the P.A. totally missed a serious issue. In addition, the office manager was incredibly rude. When I tried to speak to the Dr. Moore about this, he did nothing about it. I learned that the office manager is his wife and treats everyone rudely and is allowed to do so. Fortunately, I found another doctor and my son was properly taken care of. I have considered filing a complaint with the state medical review board. Never before have I been treated so terrible and with such neglect.

If a practice can allow the office manager to treat their patients horribly, rude, uncaring etc. this is not a good practice no matter how good the doctors are.
