I feel that there aren't enough people that review those who truly do a good job, so I want to do just that! I have been to Bluegrass Endodontic twice now for root canals that my dentist wasn't able to perform. I'll start first with the office. Office is CLEAN, modern and welcoming. You feel you are in a professionals hands the minute you walk into the facility. As for staff, very friendly and upbeat. They give you the time and attention you need and were outgoing and able to have a friendly conversation. Now, for Dr. Horwat, truly top notch! I've seen a lot of dentists, doctors, etc.. you get a feel for those who have been in their careers too long and those who are truly happy where they are at. The latter describes Dr. Horwat, he seems extremely knowledgeable about his field, explains things as he goes along, is very interesting to listen to (can't talk a whole lot with your mouth open, so always nice when the doctor and assistant talking about something interesting!). After the procedures, he wasn't in a hurry to rush out of the room. I was able to chat with him a bit and that means a lot. I believe in building relationships, its what I do in my pizzeria business, and I feel its what everyone should do. To get to know your patients/customers, and that is what Dr. Horwat does. He's got my 5 start rating across the board. Thank you Dr. Horwat for being the very thing needed in Dentistry or any other health service, Kind, Caring, Respectful!

On December 4, 2014, I fell face first onto our driveway. I received 15 stitches in my lip, lost two thirds of both of my front teeth and damaged two more. I was referred to Dr. Horwat by an Oral Surgeon the day after my accident occurred. I went straight to his office not knowing what to expect. I was still in shock and devastated over the whole incident. I have always taken very good care of my teeth and they are very important to me. The staff was so caring and compassionate and got me right in. Dr. Horwat had other patients that day but made sure I was taken care of. At one point he even told me I was his top priority. That meant a lot. He began work immediately in order to save my teeth. His actions show that this is more than just a “job” to him. He truly cares about his patients. He went above and beyond and even put in temporaries to get me through the holiday. That definitely was unexpected but greatly appreciated. This is even more important since permanent work cannot begin until January 28, 2015 due to my mouth requiring more time to heal. He completed three root canals without any pain! I highly recommend Dr. Horwat if you need root canals or have trauma to your teeth. I am very happy with the work he did and I will unquestionably return if I ever need his services.

This was my very first root canal, so I wasn't too thrilled about the procedure initially. (You know, you hear all the horror stories) But to my surprise, Dr. Horwat made the experience incredibly tolerable and comfortable. His pleasant attitude and professional demeanor was TOP NOTCH the entire procedure!! I would recommend him to anyone who wants a great endodontic experience.

Dr. Horwat did a great job on my tooth. Very punctual, a reminder prior to treatment. What I really liked was that he kept me updated on exactly what he was doing. This was my 4th root canal over 25 years and I had no problems. Great communication with me. Funny thing is my cousins an Endodintist in LA so I pay attention to this stuff. I was impressed.

I went in initially to see another provider for three root cancal treatments. I had a terrible experience. Dr. Horwat was the one who called me, checked with me to see how things were going all weekend, and subsequently completed my work. Once I made the switch to Dr. Horwat everything improved. He is punctual, dedicated, enthusiastic, charming and genuinely concerned about his patients. Every step of the way he let me know what was going on, and his care was A+++. The entire visit was pain free, and post-procedure was also pain free. I could not have asked for a better Endodontic experience. Its extremely difficult to go in for root canals. Yet turned a terrible experience into a great experience. I will always return only to Dr. Horwat. His care, concern and chair side manner is superior to any dental provider I've seen. He is amazing.

I can not say enough good things about Dr.Horwat and his staff,what great people.I am very afraid of the dentist,I went in on a friday in a lot of pain,Dr.Horwat and his staff work with me until around 6:30.I know this is there job,but I feel they went way above there job,very happy up beat. I wish I could go to them for all my needs.Love these guys.Thanks Dr Horwat and staff for making this great.

Dr. Horwat went above and beyond to help me through a very frustrating situation w/ my teeth. It is evident that his job is not "just a job" for him. I really felt like he was genuinely concerned for me and actually cared about my treatment progress. Dr. Horwat jumped in and handled what really needed to be done (even though it wasn't his responsibility) while several others were indecisive about my course of treatment, leaving me to continue to suffer in a great deal of pain. He also took the time to explain things to me and proved to have a vast knowledge base; it was great to not be worried whether or not he actually knew what he was doing. I have been overwhelmed with gratefulness & thankfulness for Dr. Horwat's care, concern, & generosity. He's even checked in with me afterwards to see how I've been doing. My only regret is that Dr. Horwat does not do general dentistry. I wish I could go to him for ALL of my dental work! If you're needing an Endodontist, Dr. Horwat is the best!

The doctor made my daughter and me extremely comfortable during her visit and explained each step in terms that we could understand. The staff was supportive and made us feel welcomed as well; she was able to watch her favorite show!
