Dr Karing was condescending and told me he just couldn't understand why people who are overweight don't just eat less. He seemed disgusted by the fact I need to lose 20 lbs and instead of encouraging me and providing guidance, he chastised me like a child.

Very good Dr. that I've been seeing for last 18 yrs. Always friendly and caring. I've sent several friends to him as well and everyone loves him. D. Moore / Colleyville

This doctor missed the mark. Like another review said, he didn't read the tests thoroughly. Went to a specialist to find I have early stage colon cancer and need more surgery. Dr. Karing also failed to tell me I had kidney stones. I found out when I had a followup CT and the radiologist tech told me!

Dr Karing is not a bad doctor, but his staff is HORRIBLE! That front office is ran by people who DO NOT CARE about the patients. They have terrible manners and are just plain rude to patients. I feel bad for anyone who goes to this Dr's office!

I am shocked at the reviews I read. Dr. Karing truly ignored me, told me that all blood tests were normal and that I liked being sick. After feeling badly for 4 more months, I got the records and saw another doctor....there were 12 tests with abnormal results...he had initialed every page, so I know he saw them. I was so diappointed and felt I suffered longer than was needed to diagnose. I am glad others have had a better experience.

Dr. Karing is the best Dr I've ever been to. He is easy to talk to and listens to what you have to say. Being an ex-pharmacist he knows his drugs and which ones are all hype. I've sent several friends to him, both male and female, each have thought his was excellent. PLUS he has a good sense of humor. That is so rare these days.. most places are get in and get out. He is a good one.

He is very relaxed with a great sense of humor. Puts you at ease immediately. He asks to-the-point questions so he can arrive to a diagnosis quickly. I've never felt uncomfortable with him. My husband and children also see him. He has been our family doctor for going on 20 years. The medicines and treatments and advice he has prescribed have always worked. He found a serious heart defect I had, when no other doctor in my past ever mentioned it. And this heart problem had begun many years before I met him. Thanks to him, I was referred to an excellent cardiologist . I highly recommend Dr. Michael Karing. -- RBR, Euless, TX

I was not able to communicate with this physician. I am sure he is competent and skilled. He just did not listen. I was disappointed.
