For 10 days as I suffered, Dr. Gilbert totally misdiagnosed a very basic medical problem. I went in to see her twice, In between visits I would call and email, explaining again my symptoms and expressing my extreme distress and get a brush off from her. Finally I went to her office when she was out for the day and her wonderful nurse ran tests right away...within 2 hours I was having emergency gallbladder surgery.

Dr Gilbert has always been very helpful and has been able to diagnose and treat every and any medical problem I've had. The office is always very crowded, so I can see why punctuality may be an issue and why she always seems rushed, but she has always returned calls if I have forgotten to ask questions during an appt and has never been condescending or rude. She has always conducted herself professionally...and actually quite compassionately.

agree she is very rushed and doesnt take the time to let you get your concerns out, acts annoyed when you have more than one issue

Dr. Gilbert is knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. However my experience with her is so rushed I find she does not take the time to address my concerns. In my annual exam I mentioned several problems I was dealing with, and she wrote them all down and then basically said goodbye. If I make an appointment for a specific problem with her, she addresses it in her concise manner but I feel like she's rushing to get out the door to the next patient.

Dr. Gilbert was friendly, helpful, made me feel at ease, and was able to diagnose quickly. She also helped make sure I had the best care when I had a kidney stone attack...my first ever! I find her bedside manner pleasant and easy to talk to.
