The previous poster who was so Lucky you to get a great, compassionate Doctor was truly Lucky. It Would be Helpful to others to know the name of the Hospital he works at. Stay away from Health East St. Joes Emergency room, especially if you have Medicare. One of their Doc's recently would only admit a Heart Patient Senior, in the Observation Status and then Medicare will not cover the costs and the senior is responsible for all costs. Most seniors cannot afford that and that is exactly why they have their senior Health Insurance and Supplements. If Any Doctor thinks you should be admitted in the Hospital, then it should automatically be a In Patient admit and that is it. A Medicare representative says the Hospitals can do what they want, because they are a Business, so anyone reading this should remember that, and be cautious as to where you take your loved ones if they are seniors on Medicare Insurance. Excellent doctor! I'm so lucky he was in the emergency department when I needed to go there. He was exceedingly knowledgeable and clearly cares for his parents a great deal.

Dr. Swanson really "knows his stuff." Trustworthy, friendly, and attractive. He treated my medical condition appropriately and with class.
