My experience with Dr. Friedman is very different than these reviews. He listens to me and performs thorough exams. He and his staff are very respectful as well.

Great staff. Dr. Friedman is businesslike, but definitely not uncaring or unprofessional. I've tried several Family Practice doctors in this area over the past years, and Dr. Friedman is easily the best I've seen -- by far! About two years ago I had a routine physical and he discovered a medical condition I have apparently had for some time that had no symptoms. He sent me to a cardiologist, who confirmed the diagnosis. And, by the way, if you have a problem he will see you ASAP! I called his office one morning at 9 p.m., and his very nice staff squeezed me in to see Dr. Friedman the same morning! I like this man and his staff!!

Very cold, unfriendly manner with patient...HE DOES NOT listen to what the patient has to say. For every question , I have, he tells me that I need to make an another appointment with him! I would not recommend him as a dr for that reason. His physician's office is very poorly run. The office overcharged me 4 times!!!! from $20.00 to $350.00 !!!! I had to call the insurance every time I go there to make sure they charged me correctly. VERY sad...FEW times they charged me and my insurance. There is NO trust with this doctor and his emloyees. .. HE IS NOT a doctor.

After reading these ratings, I felt I had to speak up for Dr. Friedman. I will acknowledge that he can be abrupt. However, I have found him to be very caring, concerned and competent. He took better care of a medical problem I had than my cardiologist did. He does not prescribe medicines that are not necessary and that is a big positive for me. He is thorough and knows medicine. I am a woman and I will continue to see Dr. Friedman. I have been a patient of his for about 3 years.

The best thing I can say is the appointment was on time. After that it went downhill. Difficulty getting Rx's refilled. Switched Drs. in less than one year.

This physician's office is very poorly run. I went for an initial visit and shingles shot. They told me that they had checked with my insurance and I was not covered for the shot ($220), so I paid. The EOB from the insurance company said I was covered and should have only paid $25. The billing person, Chris, told me "We don't call insurance companies. If we did we would be on the phone all day long." She said when they received the check from insurance, they would send me a refund. Chris was impatient and rude, as well. I called again weeks later and she told me that they had received the payment 2 weeks earlier, but that the doctor hadn't had time to sign the refund and it would be another week or so. It has now been a month since they were paid by insurance and I still have not received my refund. A doctor who allows his employees to mislead patients, allows them to be rude to patients, and cannot be bothered to sign refund checks - is a doctor that does not need me as a patient.

This man does not come close to following the Hypocratic oath. I brought the meds I take with me to the office as requested. He spent the entire visit implying I was there just to get drugs. He was very rude and uncaring. Maybe he is better with men, but my husband will never see him after this. He did not care that I have a very bad back following surgery, menopause with severe symptoms, type 2 Diabetes, sinus issues and stage three kidney failure! See this doctor only if you don't need to. He is insulting and boorish with no apparent knowledge of anything beyond a cold. He failed to complete even the most basic of exams and said I was too medically complicated and did not want to have me as a patient because of that.

Does not listen to women. Been his patient for over 2 years and had a kidney stone one day and he was very flip and uncaring, did not take me seriously. Ordered tons of bloodwork for my husbands physical (and he is healthy) and one lab for me (and I have numerous health problems). Beware, is good for things like colds and flu but not for complicated health issues!

Very cold manner with patient...he does NOT listen to what the patient has to say. I would not recommend him as a dr for that reason. His staff seems nice and patients seem to get in on time but listening to your patient is a crucial part of patient care, especially when dealing with a chronic illness.
