I have read some of the other comments written about Dr. Bronsky, and was quite frankly offended. Perhaps he was a bit arrogant and callous, but I am not looking for a friend. He presented my condition in a very straight forward and professional manner, and happily answered all my questions. He was the most knowledgeable physician I have ever dealt with, and would highly recommend him to anyone.

I had heard Dr. Bronsky could be a little gruff, so perhaps I went in expecting the worst, but I really like having him as a doctor. I can see where people say he is straightforward, which I appreciate, and he was also quite friendly. I always felt like he was taking good care of us and making the best decisions for my pregnancy.

Although Dr. Bronsky can be a bit abrupt and appear to be a tad callous, in reality he is straight forward, no nonsence, thorough, and does care about his patients. We had twins and we were amazed at week 13 how he was able to show and tell us definitively we were having boys. Most couples don't learn about sex until 18 weeks or so. He didn't have to go to the trouble. He alos handled my wife's C section very adeptly. There were issues administering the epidural but he was not on hand for that. The practive overall is outstanding and Dr. Bronsky is a fine doctor.

It's interesting the variability of the comments for Dr. Bronsky. I didn't like him either. I didn't feel like he cared about me too much and once was worried about something and had to leave 3 messages before he bothered to call me back. He also made me feel like my questions were insignificant. I did confront him and he tried to make some changes but his bedside manner was pretty gruff. I switched to another doc at the practice (Dr. Khoury) and was much happier with his way of dealing with me. Much friendlier and and excellent expertise and answered all my questions. I do believe Dr. Bronsky has a high level of skill; he just can be very difficult to deal with...

I had a consult with Dr. Bronsky after my genetic screening test came back as abnormal. I found him very reassuring. He presented the facts in a straightforward manner and made sure to answer all my questions. I thought his presentation of my risk levels was very even handed - he went over the possible risks in a way that was informative but not alarming, and he focused on the good as well as the not so good news. I left the consult feeling calm, informed, and much more at ease about my situation.

Dr. Bronsky knows his stuff. His practise specializes in high risk pregnancies. He delivered our baby girl who was a very high risk case. When my wife's OB/GYN diagnosed her condition, she recommended a transfer to INOVA Fairfax. Dr. Bronski was on call and he went through the C-section like a pro (I was in the operating theater). He was in complete control and very competent. I don't know much about what the other commenters have written about his demeanor, but if you need a qualified doctor in an emergenecy, you need him, not a therapist.

WHAT! I CAN IMAGINE PEOPLE THOUGHT SUCH THINGS ABOUT DR BRONSKY. HE WAS WONDERFUL WITH ME. I LOVED HIM. YES, HE'S WHAT I CALL NO NONSENSE BUT RUDE NO. HE'S NOT WHAT WE CALLED A "JOKER" BUT HE'S ABOUT BUSINESS. HE DOES CARE FOR HIS PROVIDERS. HE DID MY C-SECTION AND I COULDN'T ASK FOR ANY BETTER. I'M PLANNING ON ANOTHER CHILD SOON AND I HOPE TO SEE HIM THEN.

VERY VERY ARROGANT. He may know what he is doing but its awfully hard to get through his demeanor. Doesn't care about the patient. His knowledge seems okay but if you can find someone else, I would reommend. We had a good outcome but it wasn't pleasant. Actually had to confront him and tell him he was a jerk, he then became nicer but it was always tense. He got nicer at the delivery but I never wanted to see him again.

I would also disagree with the unhappy post. Although perhaps not a fuzzy as as a teddy bear, Dr. Bronsky cares tremendously for each of his patients. On more that one occasion I witnessed him "go the extra mile" for a patient to assure their safety and comfort. It is true, he is straight forward in his approach to medicine, but this is because his primary concern was for me and my baby. If you speak up and ask reasonable questions you will find him, as I did, quite knowledgable and actually rather funny -- once you get to know him. It is too bad if people interpret this behavior as arrogance -- I did not and had a wonderful experience with Dr. Bronsky.

I had a very high risk pregnancy and was in the hospital for a very long time before having my son. Dr Bronsky was one of my four Dr's and I found him to be wonderful. He may not have been as warm as the other Dr's but he explained my situation to me, answered all my questions, and reassured me that things would be fine. He got right down to business which is most important in a high risk situation. I would absolutely reccomend him to anyone in search of a kind, smart, serious Dr.
