Dr. Liu has excellent bedside manners, knowledgeable, and understanding of all my concerns. He has taken work from other doctors and ensured that my feet have been properly aligned. Always the professional. I highly recommend Dr. Liu. He has kept me walking.

Just before Thanksgiving 2015 i experienced one of the most horrific pains in my left ankle while on my job. It felt as if two sledge hammers hitting me on both sides of my foot. I made an appointment with Dr John Sciortino in Sherman Texas he told me my ankle had collapsed and told me if i wanted to walk again he wanted to send me to U T Southwestern to a doctor named Dr George T Liu. I had to wait to January 6 2016 to see Dr Liu but it was worth the pain and the wait. When i saw Dr Liu on this date i knew that i had been sent to the best. One of my friends at work had told me her brother in law had his foot crushed and wanted to amputate his foot at Denton but decided to send him to Dr. George T Liu and he is walking today. I had my surgery on Jan 26 2016 and he told that he was going to take great care of me but i never thought it was going to as great as it was. Dr Liu installed a heel nail in center of tibia with the utmost precision and brought my ankle to perfect alignment. Dr Liu made several incisions on both sides of my ankle and the big one at bottom of my foot and you cannot see a scare anywhere. The evening after surgery he came the hospital room and stayed an hour and half with my wife and i. How many doctors have one seen do that and check on me twice a day. Dr Liu has the best bed side manners i every encountered and his office visits are of the same caliber. Dr Liu told me that i may experience some extreme pain after surgery due to the amount work he had to perform on my ankle but you will never believe i had absolutely no pain and i believe it from the extra ordinary skills of Dr George Liu. I continue to see Dr Liu as my foot doctor and want use anyone else. Dr Liu is one of finest foot surgeons a person could ever use. He made it possible for me to walk again and with a pain one. THANKS SO MUCH DR. LIU , Danny Davis Gainesville Texas, 76240

My experience with Dr. Liu has nothing but a blessing and amazing. I had an injury from dropping an iron on my foot. I had been seeing a Dr. for 4mos that kept me in a heal spur boot when my foot was getting worse with swelling and severe pain. I went to another Dr and finally went back out to Parkland to see what was the name of the Dr.that removed a tumor from my foot, years and years ago. I ordered my medical records, and made an appointment to see him. Dr.Liu made med walk again. I had been walking in pain since 2015 and he is the only Dr. that new what he was doing. Dr. Lui has the warmest personality and very kind, soft spoken man. He explains in detail exactly, I mean exactly what is going on with your foot. He answers any and all questions. A couple weeks after my surgery, I was claustrophobic with that cast on my leg, but oh boy I was and wanted it off...Lol . My family had to rush me to the emergency room. To know that is was after hours and saw Dr. Liu walked through that door, I was a cry baby. I thought it was the most caring and thoughtful thing a Dr. could do. Rather he happened to be working late that evening, or was leaving going home and turned around. Just to know he cares like that. I recommend this Dr. to you. You will not be disappointed, he is a Dr. that really in truly cares about his patients. And his staff, boy I know those ladies have to do so much, take so much from us patients, paperwork, that we need, the insurance company need, etc. I can truly say each and everyone of the ladies on his staff, have always remained very professional, remained calm and to be honest, they all have just as much compassion as he does and I mean that. I promise you will not be disappointed. I'm 52 yrs old and recently just returned back to work. And to be able to go back to work walking, without a boot, is because of Dr. Liu. God sent experienced man that knows his stuff. I'm getting older foot problem will or may occur. But I do know that Dr.. George Liu., will be my foot Dr. forever. He is absolutely the best. Highly recommend.

I am 32 years old and had been plagued with chronic foot pain for nearly 8 years before finding Dr. Liu. I had seen 5 other doctors, had 3 mri’s done, countless X-rays, injections, physical therapy twice, and even a surgery. Not one doctor could figure out what was causing my problems. I am a nurse and spend long hours on my feet, and it was beginning to negatively effect my life. And then I then I found Dr. Liu. He listened to all of my previous problems, and the long bumpy road that I had been on. He figured out what was wrong, and fixed me! He seriously has changed my life. I now don’t worry about chasing down my 8 month old when she starts walking. I can run and do yoga again. I ended up with some rare condition, so if you have any foot problems, especially if they are complicated, see this doctor. I can not praise or thank him enough. And his staff is just as amazing as he is. I will be forever thankful for them.

My husband and I had the best experience possible given my husband had to have surgery. I felt very confident that Dr. Liu could "fix" him up. My husband suffered from a leg fracture and dislocated ankle bones. Saw and met Dr. Liu on a Monday and had surgery the same week on Thursday. Dr. Liu was very thorough in explaining the bones and how they shifted and why my husband would need surgery that involved screws and possibly a plate. Advised us that no doubt as he got older that arthritis would settle in, but explained how he would preform the surgery to get the bones in place and heal correctly. He explained the entire procedure along with a time frame, of how long he'd be in a splint, cast, scooter, leg boot, etc. My husband healed wonderfully, and is released to return to work with 6 month follow-up appointment. Thank you Dr. Liu! Through everything is staff was very helpful and anytime I called needing paperwork filled out the front desk was very helpful in sending the messages to Dr.Liu's assistants and nurses. They would get back to me within a timely manner and fax or upload files I needed to access. They even faxed directly to our insurance when required. I'd even receive follow up phones calls to ask if our paperwork was taken care of. I would definitely recommend Dr. Liu to any friend or family member.

Very poor bedside manner, cannot explain diagnosis in layman's terms, did not seem to want to be helpful. Worst experience at doctor's office I've had in years.

I saw Dr. Liu for a complication from another doctor. He seemed to busy to take care of me and referred me on to another podiatrist. He is so political and not honest about what happened to me nor wanted to get involved. I guess my insurance wasn't good enough for him. The best thing he did was refer me and the doctor that did take care of me and do surgery on me has given me my life back. It took a long time to recover from my surgery but doing well as of now. Skip visiting Dr Liu and find somebody else to do your surgery
