I’ve been seeing him for a few years and he talks down to you. He doesn’t listen to a word you say and talks to you as if you’re wasting his time. Treats you like a number and shows zero compassion on what you are going through. I always have anxiety when seeing him and leave his office angry. He’s very unprofessional and only looks out for himself. Made me feel like a piece of crap in front of the intern. I’m not sure how he still has his license because hes a cruel man with zero tolerance for his patients.

Was nervous to go this office with the terrible reviews, but needed med management, and got referral here. Horrible experience all around. Scheduled me with wrong practitioner, changed appt without contacting me, and final of three appts with Jacobs was the worst. Unprofessional all around.

I used to see this guy because I couldn't find another taking my insurance, always late, smelly waiting room, looks down on lgbt's, office has no efficiency or flexibility, don't answer phones, if you have to cancel they won't get the message and then charge you for it. Very judgmental giving annoyed mother looks throughout the appt. spends an average of less than 10min with patient
The place is terrible.

I wish I saw these comments before experiencing the truth in person...

If you love a practice that isn't LGBT friendly and is quick to diagnose you as bipolar, this is the place for you. I went to this practice to deal with a 14 year long diagnosis of ADHD inattentive type, and he tried to prescribe bipolar medication. Stay clear of "Doctor" Gene Jacobs. He's good at talking at you, not with you. Extremely judgmental and will base his decisions on assumptions. I don't remember going to the doctor with problems with my sexuality, because its never been a problem. He's quick to assume that that's the source of my lack of focus. Also bisexuality to him is a state of indecision. So if you're straight as can be and wear a plaid shirt, I'm sure you could get a beneficial regimen out of him. He explains things cryptically, and if you challenge his brash statements he'll respond with a statement so convoluted I doubt even he can follow himself.

Brash and incompetent. Staff are quick to drop their fake smiles if you ask them to do anything is in their job description.

Don't waist your time/money/mental state at this place. I assure you can do better with a good google search.

This was the worst doctor I had ever seen. Within literally 2 minutes he told me I did not have ADD despite being diagnosed as a child and adult with the condition. He treated me like a criminal and drug addict from the minute I walked in his office and nothing like a patient. He didn't even have the respect to give me eye contact as I described very sensitive conditions to him and just kept humming in a "Aww" tone.
