I was in the office 90 minutes for an initial consultation, and saw the dr. for about 10. Her explanations were rushed and her tone brusque. She was unable to answer a basic question about the cost of office visits not covered by insurance. I was given the impression that I had no very good surgical options or outcomes. There was no attempt to make sure I understood the procedures thoroughly, and in fact she seemed to find my confusion and frustration humorous. I was given a brief printed handout at the end of the appointment, and she was out of the office door ahead of me.
