I read the previous review and that was NOT my experience at all. His staff was amazing, I was seen on time. Does that ever happen at a doctor anymore? Dr Roberts treated my leg and it has done so much better. He is good at what he does and answered all my questions.

I have never met a more arrogant physician in my life. He took 10 seconds of his precious time to look at my ultrasound, said "easy-peezy, my nurse will tell you what happens next" and walked out. The day of the procedure he picked up the sheet and looked underneath and said " I just wanted to be sure you aren't wearing underwear" then proceeded to tell me about a male patient who was naked under the sheet and he made him put his shirt on. He was obviously in a big hurry because he never told me what was happening. He stabbed my leg with the first injection and when I jumped he said " no jumping"! When he was done he just walked out, didn't say call me if you need anything or even good-bye, or we're all done here. Seemed like his nurse felt like she should make excuses for his bad behavior. When we got to the parking lot he was driving off in his convertible vet...that says it all. Just want to make another $5500 on a procedure that I know isn't going to work before I leave for the week-end. When I went back 2 weeks later he said "eeuuu, who did that and pointed at the bruise" which is still there 9 weeks later. Then said if this vein doesn't go away come back and we'll inject something into it. I am never going back, despite the Christian music he is playing in his office he is a horrible human being. I wish I had checked this site before I wasted my time and gave him a dime of my money, that is all he cares about! $$

I had the UFE procedure. I was able to return to work after a couple of weeks. This was ALOT better than having a hysterectomy! I was in pretty bad pain for a few days afterward, but Dr. Roberts gave me some pain meds. His nurse called on me and was very helpful. I would recommend a UFE to anyone over a hysterectomy. I also saw someone say he is all in it for the money. I looked at my bill and a majority of the bill is from the hospital. I just had my check up and everything looked good.

This doctor will take your life and throw it in a garbage can!! That uneasy gut feeling you probably have about this doctor? Obey it! or you will live to regret it. UFE is not a procedure you want to have done. Results are horrible. Your bleeding may reduce or you could still bleed very heavily. Either way, as a result of your ovaries shutting down, you will begin to experience some hellish peri-menopause/menopause symptoms that *WILL MAKE YOU OLD* and your life a living nightmare. Good luck trying to have a decent orgasm, a healthy head or hair, remembering things, or feeling younger than 85! Ovaries are so important for a woman's overall mental and physical functioning, and for her youth and vitality. You do NOT want to go messing around with them!! UFE WILL DESTROY YOUR OVARIES!!!!!!! The only thing UFE has going for it is LOTS of MONEY in a Radiologist's pocket at the expense of some ignorant, desperate, confused woman. Educate yourself and avoid this procedure like the plague!!!

I have had varicose veins for years. They have been very painful and decreased my quality of life. Dr. Roberts performed a laser procedure on my veins and I feel as if I have gotten my life back. I no longer have pain in my legs and I started running within weeks of the procedure. Thanks to all the staff, I got my life back. If you are considering this procedure- DO IT!! It will be the best decision you ever made. Dr. Roberts was wonderful and followed my progress until I felt comfortable, he was great.

Avoid this doctor! If you have a Uterine Fibroid Embolization procedure scheduled, cancel it. I had this procedure and have had nothing but problems and regret every since. UFE can affect the ovaries when not performed properly. This will cause a host of other problems as a result of hormonal imbalance. I have experienced problems with fatigue, sexual dysfunction, thinning hair, weight gain, depression, fuzzy thinking, poor memory, etc. I feel like I have aged by 20 years! I'm finding ways to deal with these issues but it has certainly been a huge (and expensive) disruption to my quality of life. Please look into other options. Your safest bet, with the happiest possible outcome is a myomectomy. Look into the different types of myomectomies and be persistent about finding a *qualified* MD who is willing to perform one. Endure a few more months of heavy bleeding instead of rushing into something that promises a short down time. Instead, your down time could be life long and miserable.

This doctor is the absolute worst. He performed a procedure (uterine fibroid embolization) on me on May 5, 2004. Shortly after the procedure, I started to experience lower back pains, urinary tract infections, and kidney pain. When I went back to visit him to alert him of the complications that I was experiencing, he simply told me to go to see a gynecologist. What he should have done was perform an MRI to check for possible complications following this procedure. Instead, he shrugged me off as if I had never existed. WOMEN BEWARE!!!!! All that this doctor cares about is making money off of you. If you end up having any complications, he will not take responsibility. In addition, he and his nurse assured me that this procedure was totally safe without warning me of any prossible complications. As of today, I am still seeing numerous doctors who cannot tell me what's wrong with me. Please ladies, do not used this doctor. He will abandon you should you experience any complications.
