Dr Stutts was asked by my pain specialist to evaluate my thinking and brain functions while I was experiencing a break with reality and completely unable to be my "old self." My pain specialist was trying to determine the cause of this unusual, for me, behavour. Dr Stuts and his associates evaluated me with many tests and interviews. At first, I was disappointed with his findings but have come to see the absolute correctness and accuracy of his results. He stated that I was completely normal and spent five typed pages comparing my mental ability to the general public. On page 6 he stated that I was experiencing something like Post Traumatic Stress and that none of my doctors were addressing my deep depression. It took 2 more years to be correctly diagnosed with Hepatic Encelophopy caused by cirhosis of the liver. Not a happy resolution but now we are making progress. Thanks to Dr Stutts I am also recieving therapy for depression.
